Permission for Aerial Work
All drone operators in the UK must be CAA Approved to perform any aerial work and abide by the rules and regulations stipulated by the aviation authority. As a CAA certified company, with many hours of flight time, Birds Eye View Productions take the safety of every flight, our crew, our clients and the pubic seriously. All of our pilots have their BNUC-S Pilot Qualification which is a required pre-requisite if being granted permissions for commercial operations aerial (PFCO). Additionally, we are always happy to show proof of our insurance cover on request and would advocate that you should also get a copy of these documents too as part of your due-diligence on the type of company you will commission. We are very passionate about what we do and what to protect the industry by ensuring that any aerial filming companies that are used are CAA approved and licensed, and more importantly, know what they are doing and not operating illegally and putting the public at danger.
We use leading-edge remotely controlled multi-rotor copters, also known as drones and UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) that we equip with professional photography and video recording equipment. we are able to carry a wide variety of cameras across our fleet up to and including Red Epic and Alexa Mini Arri cameras. Furthermore, we have the versatility to carry our range of 360 video rigs.
